The RIII is typically the model which is will be produced based on the SX4 platform which is the same as the Swift. It will mostly be rolling out off its Gurgaon manufacturing plant and then moving on to its Manesar plant for more units. India is Maruti’s main production centre and hence if demands come in from other markets, they will most likely be fully responsible for supplying the CBU (Completely Built Units) to its other markets which might include Eastern Europe and Latin America.

Essentially, it is a 7 seater MPV and preliminary reports claimed that it might come with the VW supplied diesel engines which could bet the 1.6 liter common rail diesel 105 horses versions found in the VW Vento while the petrol version might just be using the SX4 engine. So far, no confirmed reports yet and you will be updated as and when they are confirmed.
