Peugeot 208 GTi Concept coming to Geneva

Set to be seen in the upcoming and highly anticipated Geneva Motor Show is the new Peugeot 208 GTi Concept model.

This might just be how the next generation of GTi’s will look like and Peugeot looked set to start the ball rolling with this one. The 208 GTi Concept will be powered up with the 1.6 liter THP 200 engine which comes with a 200 horsepower, 6 speed manual transmission gearbox and this would be the same one being fitted in the recently seen RCZ GT.

As the name implies, it borrows some of the elements of the 208 although it differs in terms of the size and certain dimensions. This one gets a cool looking rear roof spoiler while it is also fitted with disc brakes on all 4 wheels. The chequered-flag motif on the outside of the body means that the 208 GTi is serious about its racing personality.

Apart from that, it also comes with Nappa leather on the sports seats here while you will also notice and surely love the double chromed exhaust tailpipes, the lower sill skirt extensions, the lower bodywork spoilers as well as the cool looking emblem on the rear quarter panels. Keep your calendars set and when the Geneva show comes around, the real deal will be revealed.
