Plenty to look forward to at Hyundai-Sime Darby booth at KLIMS 2010

This is where you will get to see the new Hyundai Avante together with their turbo version of the Genesis Coupe 2.0T as well as their new Santa Fe. On top of that, you can also view their entry level hybrid CUV Concept car, the ix-Metro which is the fifth model to roll out of its HND (Hyundai Namyang Design) Center in Korea.

At the booth, you will also be able to get to see the codenamed MD vehicle which is a C-segment sedan vehicle which is actually the fifth generation of the Hyundai Avante. It is currently in production and will be sold in the Korean market and will start rolling out globally starting next year. Hyundai’s new ‘Wind Craft’ design of the Avante will also be put on show at the booth.

On top of that, the Genesis Coupe 2.0T Turbo is the model is the one that comes with a 2.0 liter turbo-charged, intercooled 4 cylinder engine that gets you up to 212 horses and 294 NM of torque. This model is already in production and is sold in left hand drive markets apart from Europe. The new Santa Fe, which is also on show at the event will also be launched where it comes with the petrol and diesel engine variants. This new model will be Hyundai’s most powerful SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) that gets you to a maximum of 442Nm of torque.

To find out more about their latest engine technology which are being put into its new Santa Fe model which are the 2.4-litre Theta II series petrol and the “R” 2.2 CRDI diesel engines respectively, there will be more information on these latest technologies from Hyundai available in the booth. Apart from that, there are also exclusive imported merchandise on sale there which are only available during the show.
