For starters, the sheer looks of this car would give anyone the creeps. If Formula 1 is fast with 800 to 1000 horsepower engines, this one comes at least twice the power. Giving ‘extreme’ a whole new dimension, you will like what you see here. The statistics here are of course, the 2000 horsepower engine. And then there is the over 300 miles per hour top speed. It takes less than 1.5 seconds to get you from zero to hundred.
The Dagger essentially is a hand-made model and is made to cater to what the owner wants. You could actually choose either the street-legal made for roads model or the more glam and luxurious GT-X model that has the looks of what a millionaire would drive. But seriously why bother choosing since anyone would be thunderously loud already. According to Nelson Racing Engines, the people behind this machine, the ‘Sport’ model will cost USD450,000 and if you want to add anything more would cost more.
Buyers who order now can expect their cars to be delivered in the first six months of next year where they will only be producing 5 units. At the moment, Nelson Racing Engines has already received orders for 3 units so they are only going to produce 2 more. Any additional orders, unless the buyer is willing to pay exorbitant loading fees, would have to wait until 2012. This is because, according to the manufacturers, they want to upkeep the quality and uniqueness of their model. Anyway, for 2012, they plan to roll out 10 units. The Dagger GT is designed based on the Corvette Cheetah where if you like, each unit comes with exceptional parts which are customized and catered specifically for this model. As mentioned, each unit is unique to its core and it is up to the owner’s creativity to add some spice to the already crazy engine.
