2010 sees the introduction of the new Cadillac SRX

Look set to give the Lexus RX350 a run for its money, it is now slightly shorter than the version before this to give it a more sporty look, but its wider body means more space although legroom might be compromised. The headlights are now vertically stacked while Cadillac’s trademark can be spotted throughout the car. It no longer comes with elaborate interiors and hence you might notice a bit more of a minimalist design here.

To begin with, its former engine, the 3.6 liter V6 and 4.6 liter V8 engine has now been replaced by the 3.0 liter V6 direct injection machine which gets you up to 265 horsepowers and is now more economical and efficient as compared to its older 3.6 liter version. Reports had it that GM is planning a 2.8 liter turbocharged V6 which will come into the markets next year which could get you up to 300 horses. Whichever your choice is, they will all be powered through its 6 speed automatic transmission and on its all-wheel drive system.

Inside the car, you will get some cool accessories which include a power lift-gate system, a hard drive for storage of your digital music files, a dual-screen audio video system as well as Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from that, the adaptive forward lighting system is also a nice addition. In terms of safety, you get pretty much the standards like standard head-curtain side and front-seat mounted airbags, ABS and such. to make it more enticing, you will also like to know that the car is made by Martensitic steel which is one of the strongest material they can find.

This car looks good in nature and it definitely gets you by with its first impression. But whichever way you see it or drive it, you will appreciate its fine handling and the powerful engine that its being fitted in. Pink Panther? That would be quite an old classic touch to be honest.
