Your first impression of this car is that it is now bigger and looks way more spacious. To be honest, this car do look big enough with its wagon profile and the 2010 version is now about 4 inches wider and 3 inches taller. Not that much if you measure it this way but in terms of space, it surely will be well received. Inside the car though you will notice that it no longer follows much of the Impreza or the Tribeca designs and this is where Subaru is able to churn out quite an able looking car, to be honest.
There are in total 3 variants in terms of engines where you can choose either the 2.5i engine which is a 170 horses machine, the 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine which also comes with a 2.5GT version which means it is the sporty one and of course, the top of the range 3.6 liter model. This is powerhouse of the new Legacy if you want to look at it this way, which comes with a 256 horsepower engine. Where gears are concerned, the 2.5 liter comes with Subaru’s own Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) or the 6 speed manual gearbox while the 2.5GT comes only with manual gears while the 3.6 ones are which you get the 5 speed automatic transmission gearbox.
There are some nice additions inside the car really, where you get among many, things like the 3 spoke steering wheels, adjustable front seats and a lot of space at the back. Apart from that, you also get power windows, cruise control system, keyless entry and a 4 speaker CD player audio system with iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.
