Subaru Malaysia has announced the revised pricing of the Subaru Forester as well the new and more affordable 2.0 liter model.
This will be the Subaru Forester 2.0X AWD which is powered up by the Subaru FB series 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder boxer engine and paired with a 4 speed SPORTSHIFT automatic transmission gearbox. This new model is priced at RM154k on-the-road with insurance where it comes with the AVCS (Active Valve Control System).
Essentially, it is an all-wheel drive where it also comes with dual SRS front airbags, ABS and 16 inch alloys as well as a 2-DIN CD player and EPS power steering wheel.
If you are in for the more rugged and powerful Subaru Forester, then you might be itching for the Subaru Forester 2.5 XT AWD Turbo. Priced at RM185,264 on-the-road with insurance, this would be quite a steal considering that it was formerly more than RM220,00 which is the one that comes with the 2.5 litre four cylinder boxer engine also paired with the 4-speed SPORTSHIFT automatic transmission gearbox.
Typically, this is the one which has that mean, growling sound that the Forester is often associated with and it comes with front side and curtain airbags and 17 inch alloy wheels as well as a roof spoiler and a very cool power sliding glass sunroof and hydraulic power steering.
