Acura ZDX concept goes into production, available in Fall 2009
This coupe looks pretty stunning the first instance you lay your eyes on it and if the concept version is anything to go by, then you can pretty much expect the production to be one great buy. It comes with a hidden rear door handles, some bold fender flares as well as a panoramic glass roof which also exudes great performance. This is because the ZDX will come fitted with a 3.7 liter V6 engine which is powered through a 6 speed automatic transmission. The Single-Overhead-Cam (SOHC) engine gets you up to speed with its 300 horsepowers and a maximum of 270 lb-ft of torque while shifting the gears will be available through its paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.
You can pretty much expect that whenever a car is made for the American market, it would be highly powerful with performance being its priority as well as the looks which many would die for. Hence, the look and feel of this is not only commendable but would result mainly with compliments and awe. The car comes standard with Acura’s own SH-AWD (Super Handling-All Wheel Drive) system which typically tells you everything you need to know about how well this car moves.
The fine curves and superior styling of this car is all you would really want to begin with and looking at th 19 inch 7 spoke alloy wheels, which is pretty much the largest wheels in any of the Acura cars, you cannot help but wanting to own it instantly. Apart from that, you will also appreciate the insides of this machine, where its leather dash and upholstery gives you the comfort you need as well as the extremely large boot space. You also get the movable sunshades on the glass roof, the trademarked HandsFreeLink which connects Bluetooth devices, a surround sound system with iPod connectivity as well. Other features here include the CMBS (Collision Mitigating Braking System) and ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) as well.
