Affordable ticket prices for KLIMS’10, Proton to show a ‘little surprise’

As they are promoting the event as a family oriented show, you and your family can visit the event for an RM30 pass for weekdays while weekends will cost RM40 per family. Family passes will consist of 2 adults which are the husband and wife respectively and you can bring up to 5 of your kids who are under 12 years of age.

Held at the PWTC, Putra World Trade Center, the organizers will be adopting the ‘We Care’ theme for the show which is used to demonstrate the automotive sector’s concern (hence, the word ‘care’) for the community, the consumer and more importantly, the environment. A list of very reputable participants have since confirmed their attendance of the event with local manufacturers like Proton and Perodua being involved. Other ‘usual suspects’ include Toyota, Chery, Nissan, Isuzu, Honda, Daihatsu, Peugeot, Westar, Mitsubishi and others too will be showcasing their product lines there.

While you can most expect the latest products and models to be unveiled at the show, national car maker Proton Holdings Group has announced that there will be a ‘little surprise’ at the show. Many are expecting them to showcase their first hybrid model which is the Proton Emas which was unveiled at the recent Geneva Motor Show but that would not so much be a surprise anymore. Hence, it will be interesting to see what they would be showing at the show.

According to Datuk Aishah Ahmad, the president of the MAA (Malaysian Automotive Association) who is also KLIMS’ 10’s Organizing Chairman, to draw the crowd to the show and increase participation, they have ensured that the ticket prices for the event is the same as its 2 previous shows which were held back in 2006 and the one before that which was in 2003.
