The name Guiletta was previously a ‘dream car’ in the fifties when it was designed to exude high level of comfort and excellent technical and performance and is set to commemorate the company’s centenary year. The car would be produced by the Alfa Romeo Style Centre which aimed to create the car which is high quality capable of meeting the demands of modern driving.
The Guiletta is set to be marketed in the compact car segment which is totally new design and special focus has been put into the handling of the car while maintaining the best possible agility as well as safety features. It comes with Alfa DNA, which essentially is a device which ‘learns’ and ‘customizes’ to the behavior of how the car is driven. This comes in 3 driving modes namely Dynamic, Normal and All Weather which tries to adapt to all driving conditions.
This would be the result of the new direction from the new models rolled out by Alfa Romeo where they are seeking to provide the best in style and technology starting with the 8C Competitzione supercar which took an old, impressive and reputable model and beefing it up to be relevant in today’s market. its ‘Trilobe’ shape in the front pretty much tells the intention of the company.
