Alpina rolls out the BMW D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe

Lately, they have produced its own D3 BMW 3 series model. Known to some to be the 323d, it is branded as the BMW 3 Series Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe. Alpina made this model because there really isn’t a 323d from BMW as their diesel product line is getting a bit too overcrowded. If the car is rolled out of Alpina’s factory, everything will then be changed. The D3 in chort comes with a 2.0 liter diesel engine which is based on the 123d BMW.

The engine is top notch, getting you from zero to hundred in 6.9 seconds within its 214 horsepower booster and top speeds at 152mph, bear in mind, this is a diesel engine car. This car comes with totally aerodynamically optimized spoilers and body work as well as customized steering wheel and seats as well. To a large extent, this car do not drive like a diesel car. It comes with 331lb-ft of torque and it gets you up to speed in no time at all.

The D3 do perform faster than the Golf GTi and it also handles better as well. This is because the people at Alpina has taken great lengths to ensure that the car maintains its composure at high speed and that it does not over performs. Honestly, there could really be more from Alpina if they wanted to but perhaps pushing it over the bar with this one might mean that they would need to raise the bar higher with their more superior models. Hence, it will no longer be whether they can do it, but more like do they want to do it? and the answer is obvious.
