Starting next Spring, Aston Martin will be rolling out its 2011 Rapide 4 door machine. They will start at USD199,950 for the US market and will come through from its Aston Martin Rapide Plant in Graz in Austria. Every unit, just like any of its other models are hand built and they are expecting to sell about 2,000 units next year.
A quick guide to the quality and class of the Rapide 4 door. Its sound system are custom fitted with the Bang & Olufsen Beosound system which was made and tailored specifically for this car while it also comes with dual cast brakes, and Adaptive Damping System as well as heated memory seats. There really are not many 4 door Aston Martins around and this would be one of the first. Of course, having a 4 door Aston Martin does not make you any less desirable.
The thing about this car is that because it is hand-built, you can be sure to appreciate the little details that are included. In fact, it is measured that it will take approximately 220 man-hours to build each Rapide which will follow through the same process like the DBS, the V12, and its other siblings. Of course, being a four door car, you can expect more space inside, unlike the other Astons, which are typically made for 2 adults (get the drift?). This one, however could fit 4 people comfortably as well as giving you quite a lot of boot space for storage. Perhaps they have the more family man in mind this time around but like it or not, the car surely gets you from point A to B in the most stylish fashion imaginable.
