Known for its luxury and performance characteristics, this model will surely give its competitors a run for their money. Going against the likes of the BMW 5 series, the Lexus GS and the Mercedes E Class seemed a bit difficult but with what they have put in, they might just be doing a great job in that.
The 2011 A6 comes in 4 trim levels where you can choose between the 3.2 liter, the 3.0T, the 4.2 or the 3.0T Avant (wagon). For starters, the 3.2 sedan version comes with a 3.2 liter V6 front wheel drive engine that gets up 265 horses. The other trims are equipped with the Audi Quattro permanent all-wheel drives. A 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine powers up the 3.0T sedan and the Avant versions while the top of the range is the 4.2 version that comes with a 4.2 liter V6 engine. All engines are paired with the 7 speed CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox while you can also opt for the 6 speed automatic gearbox.
On top of that, you will also get the direction injection technology as standard. Inside the car, you would enjoy the 5 seater quite comfortably while the Avant model would give you a bit more space than the others. It is also fitted with the 17 inch,5 spoke wheels and if you like, you can upgrade that to another inch or more. Other standard equipments include the keyless entry system, the multimedia interaction system that comes with navigation and climate control while entertainment is provided by Bose through its surround sound system. Additions here include a rear sonar parking assist while a heated four spoke multifunction steering wheel too can be requested for those driving in cold climate countries.
