BMW Malaysia launches the new RM300k BMW 420i Coupe

BMW Malaysia recently launched the new BMW 428i Coupe which followed the earlier launch of the Convertible version earlier last week. For the Malaysian market, BMW is bringing in the standard and Sport Line versions for the 4-series level.

This one comes with a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine under the hood paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Its 184 horsepower engine takes 7.3 seconds to reach the century mark with a top speed of 236 km/h.

Apart from that, it comes with a stop-start system and is fitted with xenon headlights. Other standard accessories include fog lamps, front and rear parking sensors and the pretty 225/50 R17 star-spoke alloy rims.

In terms of interiors, there are 6 audio speakers matched with a 6.5 inches BMW Radio Professional instead of the touch screen iDRive, automatic dual-zone air-conditioning, a satin silver matt dashboard trim, a sports leather-wrapped steering wheel and the classy Dakota black leather upholstery, among others. The higher version comes with the M Sport Suspension, high-gloss exterior trim and paddle shifters.

Standards across the versions include side and dual frontal airbags, DSC, CBC and DTC and the choice of colours. This version is priced at RM299,800 on-the-road without insurance while the Sport Line is yours for RM319,800.
