The C3 is typically a smaller hatchback version of the Citroen family that comes with a basic 1.1 liter petrol, 4 cylinder engine. If you think that is too small a power for the car, then there would be the 1.4 versions and of course the 1.6 VTi engine as well. In Europe, the diesel powered engines comes in variants of 1.4 and 1.6 liter respectively.
Now for the horsepower. The petrol version gets you on with 61horses on the base model while the 1.4 ones has either the 75 or the 95 horsepower versions. Top of the range 1.6 version will get you through with 120 horses. On the other hand, the diesel engines puts you up to either 70 or 90 horsepower on the 1.4 engines while the 1.6 engine gets you up to 110 horses.
The looks of the car is good enough to strike a first impression. It looks somewhat sporty and reminds me of the Mini, to some extent, although both the cars are worlds apart. But just like its earlier models, Citroen has more or less ‘rounded’ its design and you can expect more of these with this one. Of course, the front grille are always customized to accommodate the double upward arches which is pretty much the trademark of the car company.
Inside, you can expect more ‘rounded’ fittings with easily adjustable seats but being a hatchback, this car is surprisingly spacious which will accommodate 5 adults comfortably. The driving experience in Citroen cars are never short of anything because they always have that in mind when designing their cars. Like it or not, it is always the driving and handling which makes Citroen cars top its marks in any bracket, so will the C3.
