He said that where the target is concerned, the demand for the 458 has been encouraging where the company is not so much about selling volumes but more so to “fulfill the customer’s dream and deliver the best-of-the-best car for them.” The 458 Italia is priced at RM2million and is imported directly from its Maranello plant in Italy.

SM Faisal was speaking to the media recently at the launch of the 458 Italia for the local market where he reported that there has been 14 bookings already for the car which “Exudes style, creative flair, passion and cutting-edge technology, all in one package.” Since it was granted the exclusive rights as the distributor of Ferrari cars in Malaysia in March 2008, Naza Italia has since sold some 23 Ferrari cars in its 5 different models. Among the models which Naza Italia carries or planning to do so are the F430, the Scuderia Spider, the 599 GTB Fiorano, the 612 Scaglietti and the Ferrari California.

The 458 Italia was first launched at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show which was designed to replace the F430. It comes with a 8 cylinder, mid-rear mounted engine and is renowned for its economical fuel consumption of 13.3 liter per kilometer and producing of 307gm of carbon dioxide per kilometer. SM Faisal also announced that Naza Italia will be offering its customers the Ferrari Approved Pre-Owned programme which ensure that the pre-owned cars would be given the full technical support which will also include the Ferrari Power Warranty. Some RM10million has since been spent to ensure that Ferrari and Maserati cars would continue to flourish in Malaysia where Naza Italia has also set up a one-stop 4S center next to its showroom. 4S here refers to Sales, Services, Spare Parts and System, which pretty much is the all round support for Ferrari owners.
