The widely anticipated Honda Insight has arrived to our shores. Honda Malaysia recently introduced the new version with some very nice new designs indeed.
The 1.3 liter engine Insight hybrid was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year and they have done quite a bit to improve the performance and not only its design.
The new facelift would include new bumpers both in front and the rear while it comes with a blue tint headlights. As with the hybrid person, the blue colour is used throughout this one and you also get e nice looking blue reflector under the new grille. Apart from that it also comes with a smaller spoiler while they have also made some enhancements to the aerodynamics. This version comes with the 1.3 liter engine which gets you to 88PS while the electric motor gets you an additional 14PS.
Sold for RM99,800, the Honda Insight comes with a 5 years or 140,000km warranty on the IMA battery and according to Honda Malaysia, they have ready stock and will be able to deliver in 2 weeks at most. The Insight is fitted with added noise insulation to reduce the NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) and hence, you can be sure of a much quieter ride.
