To know how limited it is, there is a serial number displayed on the inside of the car. Each of the 300 cars will have the serial number starting from 001 to 300 in every car making each one unique in its own sense. The original look and feel of the car has been preserved while new design were added to give it a more handsome outlook. This is particularly evident especially in the front areas of the car with the fitting of a new grille and a new bumper while the cool wraparound headlamps too give this car a boost in its sportiness.
Styling of the Getz SE too has been enhanced with additions like LED indicators on the side mirrors with the new Dunlop D01 tyres fitted within its 15 inch alloy rims. The car is powered through its 1.4 DOHC engine which gives you up to 71.3kW at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 125.5Nm at 3,200rpm. There are 2 variants available which include the Getz SE 1.4 Manual transmission and the Getz SE 1.4 Automatic Transmission which are 5-speed and 4-speed gearboxes respectively.
On top of that, you will also get 2 SRS airbags on the front seats of the car, seatbelts and the Hyundai Multi Information Display system which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about your driving experience. This includes the average fuel consumption, the temperature and very importantly the distance from the current status to an empty fuel tank. As with most SEs or LEs, this car comes in one colour which is Icing White.
The Getz is an award winning model having won the 2006 COTY Award for ‘Best Small Car of the Year’, the Transport for London Private Sector Award at the 2006 GreenFleet Awards, the BS Motoring’s ‘Car of the Year’ 2005 and the ‘Best Budget Car’ and is priced at RM60,984 and RM63,888 for the Manual and Automatic transmissions respectively. It also comes with a 5 years or 300,000 km warranty.
