Image of silver Proton P3-21A circulating, fuelling more speculations of new Proton sedan

Pictures of a silver coloured Proton P3-21A was revealed over the web recently and this is what many are speculating to be the new sedan model from the national carmaker.

Unlike any other new models which are usually covered up with black paint or plastic bags and a temporary car registration number, this was one which was not covered in anything. Only the driver was seen attempting to cover up the car from being photographed.

Rumours that Proton was developing a new sedan version which will be taking the looks of the Tuah that was seen at the 2010 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show has been circulating and this shows that the Tuah project is close to realisation following some leaked photos of a yellow pP3-21A model some time last year. It would also be the one that was test-driven by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad recently. The silver car had various similar designs that include the headlights and the bumpers.

It however did not carry the same design as the Tuah concept despite the latter being the inspiration behind this project. Multi-spoke alloy wheels and wing mirrors with indicators were seen in this one and it surely will be quite an attractive model once the production and more revelations come about in the near future.
