Karl Lagerfeld promotes new Style package from VW

One of the most renowned German designers around, Karl Lagerfeld has joined the many designers who have given their interpretations into the automobile industry. He was recently involved with the shooting of next year’s calendar for Italian wheel maker Pirelli and another German established brand Volkwsagen has taken him to task in designing a new product line.

The package, which is made only available in his home country in Germany, VW has launched the Style packages exclusively for their Polo, Golf and Golf Plus models where they will come with new designed alloy wheels, lamp lenses and special badges. On top of that, buyers will also get fog lamps and tinted windows while for those who are going for the Style-Plus package, VW will also put in a sunroof and another set of new alloy designs.

Apparently, this package is launched to help VW buyers save money where they would not have to change the accessories themselves. It is not reported if Lagerfeld was involved in the designing of the models but he was literally involved with the commercial and the print ads.
