Lexus Malaysia has announced that the new Lexus GS will be coming to our shores and that they have started receiving bookings for the new model.
This would be the one which was put on show in Pebble Beach in the United States last year where Lexus are looking to compete against the likes of the Audi A6, the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E Class and they are taking in orders to allow the privileged few to be the first to own this cool beauty. There will be numerous colours available both for the inside and outside and Lexus will surely be giving the competitors a run for their money once this model comes into our roads.
According to Lexus Malaysia, they will be bringing in the GS 250, GS 250 Luxury and GS 350 Luxury variants respectively where this would be the first time that the GS will be powered by a lower than 3.0 liter engine. The GS250 comes with a 2.5 liter V6 engine that boosts out 206 horses paired with a Super ECT-i close-ratio intelligent six-speed automatic transmission gearbox completed with a sequential manual shift function and depending on which model you are buying, they will be priced between RM370,000 and RM488,000.
