Lotus to showcase new Evora S and IPS at Paris Motor Show

The engine that you will get from the Evora S is the one that is made by Toyota which would be more powerful in its 3.5 liter V6 configuration. This gets you up to 345horsepower and 400Nm of torque which is equipped with the supercharger. This will get you from zero to hundred in just 4.8 seconds, after all it is a Lotus with a top speed reaching at 276km/h. Reviews are speculating that this could be a similar fitting found with the Toyota Aurion TRD.

Apart from that, the Evora S (where S stands for ‘sports’) comes standard fitted with a ‘sport’ pack where you will get a ‘sport’ button which is supposed to give you better maneuverability and the response from the throttle as well as giving you more leverage on the rev limits as well as allowing you to change the dynamic stability control system.

The other model, which is the IPS is where you will get the 3.5 liter V6 engine that is paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox which comes with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel for those of you who prefer the manual driving experience. This one gets you up to 276 horsepowers which also comes with the ‘sports’ button that gives you full control of the gear transmission. according to Dany Bahar, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, they are looking to reach a different market through the IPS which is seen as a model which will broaden the appeal of the Evora.

He also said that it has been a while since Lotus came up a manual model and that this model will go well with markets that are more receptive of automatic cars like those in Asia, the Middle East as well as in the United States and hence he hoped that the effort and time spent on refining the model will provide the owners with a new experience of owning a Lotus.
