Bermaz Motor, the Malaysian distributor of Mazda cars recently launched the Mazda 6 model for the local market. This came about after some intense speculation of the model that includes spyshots and such and now the fully imported model from Japan is available for the Malaysian driver.
The new Mazda 6 is available in 3 versions which are the 2.0 sedan, 2.5 sedan and the 2.5 Touring models respectively. All models come with 6 airbags, push-button start, automatic rain wipers, leather seats and a touch-screen, audio player. On top of that, you also get the cruise-control system, reverse camera with front and rear sensors too.
Under the hood is the 4 cylinder engines paired with Mazda’s own SkyActiv-Drive 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox. On the 2.5 sedan however, you get additional goodies like keyless entry, paddle shifters and a Tom-Tom navigation system.
Pricing is at RM159,455.50 for the 2.0, RM189,728.40 for the 2.5 and RM193,832.40 for the top range 2.5 Touring version all on-the-road including insurance. As with most cars these days, you will enjoy a 3-years warranty on parts and a 3-years maintenance-free package as well. There are 5 colours for you to choose from which are Blue Reflex, Soul Red, Meteor Grey, Snowflake White Pearl and Aluminum Metallic.
