If you are considering a sedan car around the bracket of RM200,000, then you might just be able to own a Mercedes-Benz.
This is because Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently brought in their latest C-Class, the C180 BlueEfficiency and is it priced at RM227,888 only.
The price is on-the-road without insurance which puts its as probably the cheapest one you can find. It is powered up with the 1.8 liter turbocharged engine which is the same one planted in the C200 and C250 CGI models here which comes with 156 horses. It takes only 8.9 seconds to reach the century mark and paired with a 7G-Tronic seven speed transmission gearbox, this car’s top speed is at 223km/h.
The new C180 comes with 17 inch allow wheels as standard which is fitted with a 5 double-spoke design while you also get Artico letather upholstery and black and grey interiors. However, they have taken quite a lot from its older sibling, the C200. This means that you will not be getting among others the likes of the ECO Start and Stop function, the electric rear screen roller blind, bi-xenon headlamps and most notably, the speed-sensitive steering system. But with what is included and the lower price range, it surely is quite a buy to own a Benz.
