To begin with, the design of this car has been somewhat deviant of its other siblings because it does not look like the typical Mercedes Benz. It comes with its more contemporary aerodynamics which is pretty nice and fresh. The car comes with the more modern looking tail lights which is more sporty and any other four door models. Known as a luxury sports sedan, the model comes in 2 trim models, the 4 door coupe and the high end CLS63 AMG 4 Door coupe.
The standard version comes equipped with a 5.5 liter V8 engine which gets you up to 382 horsepowers while the top range one is the crazy horse versions which is fitted with a 6.2 liter V8 engine that boosts out some 507 horses. Both versions are fitted with a 7 speed automatic transmission gearbox. One of the things you do not get with the CLS550 is space, which is what Benz cars are usually famous for. It was either there were luxurious seats and space or open tops which gives you lots of head room, but with this one, all that do not come easy anymore. So if you are looking to be those businessman like bosses, then you might want to give this a miss.
Of course, that being said, the people at Mercedes never shortchange anyone who drives their brand as inside the car is where you get the top notch equipments including great leather upholstery and matching gear and steering wheel. On top of that it also comes with the iPod and MP3 connectivity player as well as its nicely looking 18 inch alloy wheels. Like it or not, this car surely fits the taste of those who are in for the speed and looks. It will appeal to the young and professionals although those who are more for the classical Mercedes Benz cars might not appreciate this car that much. Whichever way you see it, it still has that DNA where quality and performance are concerned but not the whole persona anymore.
