Mistubishi Malaysia launches new facelifted Lancer and Grandis

With the Lancer, the new design includes a new front grille as well as the cooler looking bumper and chrome outline of the grille which gives you that aggressive looking look which is designed along the Evolution series. It comes equipped with the GEMA 4B11 2.0 liter, 16 valve twin-cam block engine which gives you the 153horspowers and 199Nm of torque, pretty much the same as its predecessor. Inside the Lancer, you will be delighted to find the audio surround 6 speaker system which plays CD/MP3s as well as other standard fittings like the automatic climate control, the steering wheel fitted audio controls as well as the multi-information display system as well. The 2.0GT comes in 3 different colours namely the Red Metallic, the Solid White and the Black Mica which is sold for RM120,598.

For those of you who prefer space to power and in the MPV bracket, meaning the more family people, the new Grandis would keep you interested. Sold for RM160,557, it comes in 4 colour choices. They are Gray Mica, Black Mica, Cool Silver and White Pearl. The engine is still pretty much the same, but it now comes with new fittings to give you a refreshing choice.

It looks more sporty now probably because of its new body kit nicely curved and placed within its 17 inch alloy rims while the seats are now fitted in with black leather which is both posh and comfortable. You will surely like the new double-decked 6.1inch Kenwood DVD player which plays your videos and audio in its surround speakers. The display unit here is touchscreen. No joke. Apart from that, Bluetooth and USB connectivity too are made available as well. The thing is that, the prices of both these new versions did not differ that much but then again, it is not like you are choosing between the two as both belonged to different market segments, but surely if you are a big Mitsubishi fan, then one for yourself and another for the family would sound perfect.
