The special edition is also a limited edition where there would only be 100 units available where it comes with a re-styled sporty exterior as well as add-on rear air dams and diffuser. Apart from that it is also fitted with gun metal rims and sporty carbon fiber design on its rear spoiler as well as on the side air dams. Nappa leather seats with red and orange stitching now sits inside the car which is racing inspired while the gear knob comes with the standard red-stitches. Pretty sleek and stylish huh?
The Special Edition will be available from 7 January onwards and is priced at RM123,046 and is available in 2 different colours, Black Mica and Red Metallic. With these stylish additions, it is no doubt that this special edition Lancer 2.0GTS will make heads turn.”
This model would be fully imported from Japan and comes with the standard fittings as per its original model where features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) comes standard. The front fog lamps are also included with dual stage front SRS Airbags too. On top of that, the pre-tensioners front seat belts and security alarm with keyless entry with remote boot opener and reverse sensors too are all part of the deal here.
Of course, under the hood would be Mitsubishi’s own MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control) powered engine sits majestically on its 2.0 liter 16 valve DOHC engine. This means you get a whooping 155 horsepower and 199Nm of torque. Typically, the 100 limited units here would be mostly cosmetic instead of performance and the Ralliart embles and the additional ‘S’ pretty much paints you the picture of what this GTS is all about.
