For starters, its all-wheel-drive and dual-clutch A3 systems have been enhanced where MTM has put in their own tuning chip and turbo-back exhaust system which boosts its original 200 horsepower 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo engine into a 272 horsepower monster. Using their own specially designed and developed springs, MTM has also lowered the car by about 1 inch while fitting in the front brakes with the S3 versions. Of course this will not be complete without bigger tyres where 19 inch Pirelli PZero tyres are used. This is highly essential considering the power the engine is boosting out and how much it requires good handling and performance from the body work.
The original body has since been fitted with original European Audi S3 parts like the front and back bumpers, doorsills, sideview mirrors, side skirts and the front grille as well. Completing the body design is the S3 emblem. This is where the S3 looks really aggressive and without the more extravagant wings and such as it has its subtlety well taken care of. This is where MTM has been widely successful, providing better aerodynamics on the Audi (imagine that) without having to look too over the top.
Anything that has to do with car tuning models would not be complete on just how well this car runs. To begin with, it is supposedly a bit faster than the S3 particularly with the S-Tronic transmission which is smooth and practically flawless. With such a system in place, it is no wonder that MTM sits among the big names of car tuning companies.
