The Malaysian distributor and assembler of Peugeot cars, Nasim Sdn Bhd which is a subsidiary of Naza Group of Companies has just launched the new Peugeot 508 sedan model.
Priced at RM169,888 (on-the-road with insurance). The new 508 comes in only 1 variant which is the 1.6 liter 156THP engine and the twin-scroll turborcharged engine gets you up to 156 horses through its AT6, 6 speed automatic transmission gearbox.
The response for this car has been overwhelming where they have already accepted more than 100 per-launch bookings before the official unveiling of the car. Fitted with paddle shifters on the steering wheel, it comes with a host of really cool equipments apart from the fact that it takes only 9.2 seconds to reach 100. This version is fitted with most of what is seen in the European model which include bi-Xenon headlights with washers and automatic height adjusters, leather seats, an 8 way electric-powered seats for the driver and passenger.
It is also fitted with a push-start system while in terms of safety it comes with 6 airbags while it also comes with a 7 inch HD multi-function colour screen. Other standard features include ESP, ABS, EBD anti-skid regulation and Hill-Assist system. Entertainment is powered out through its 10 speaker surround system provide by JBL and a 500 watt amplifier.
