Naza launches the new ’4-in-1’ Ducati Multistrada 1200

It also comes with Bosch-Brembo ABS system as well as a standard 8 stage Traction control system. Apart from that Ohlins Ducati Electronic Suspension is also included. According to Dato Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri Nasimuiddin, the Joint Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Ofcicer of Naza Group, the 1200 is designed for all types of motorbiking and can be used on all types of road surfaces. Ducati used the technology derived from motor bikes made in Bologna for the MotoGP and World Superbike championships.

The new 2010 Mutlistrada is one superbike which incorporates almost everything that it promotes. The company has aimed to make it more flexible than any of its predecessors. To say the least, combining the 4 bikes is the ultimate aim. It comes with proper sportsbike performance, gives you that long-drive touring capabilities easy to ride as well as the abitlity to go off-road biking. It comes with an enhanced engine that gets you up to 150horsepower at 9,250rpm and 118Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. This is translated to more than 90 horses as compared to its previous 1100DS version.

The standard model is expected to cost around RM120,000 while the top of the range version would cost you almost an additional RM20,000 more. According to Datuk SM Zulkifli SM Amin, the Executive Vice-president of Operations of Naza Group, Naza World Bike Sdn Bhd is targeting a turnover of RM40million for 2010 with more demand for branded motorcycles and the new Ducati would be one of them.

Apart from the 1200, they are also planning to bring in another 5 new models from their list of very impressive bike brands, Piaggio, Vespa and Aprilia. For a start, Naza aims to sell 60 units of the new Multistrada 1200 and to achieve their sales target, various creative advertising and marketing and promotional activities will be introduced.
