Naza Quest, the official distributor of Chevrolet cars in Malaysia has just launched the new Chevorlet Colorado pick-up truck.
This will be coming in through the Rayong plant in Thailand where 3 versions will be made available for the Malaysian market.
You can choose between the 2.5 liter manual version which will be sold for RM90,267 or the RM96,008 2.8 liter manual version while the 2.8 liter automatic version is sold for RM106,008 on-the-road without insurance. The 2.5 version is available with the 5 speed manual gearbox while the 6-speed automatic transmission system is available on the 2.8 liter powertrain.
In terms of power, the 2.5 liter common-rail diesel engine boost out 150 horses while the 2.8 manual version gets you 30 horses more. Meanwhile, the top of the range version, which is the 2.8LTZ automatic version comes with a different engine paired with the 6 speed Shifttronic gearbox where you will also get the variable geometry turbo system while it also gets you up to 180 horses, it is the torque which is being enhanced here taking only 10.2 seconds to reach the century mark.
Standard equipments in all the versions come with dual-airbags, ABS, EBD with Brake Assist, a USB/Bluetooth equipped audio system while the LTZ comes with additional safety features like Hydraulic Brake Fade Assist, Cornering Brake Control, Traction Control and Panic Brake Assist apart from the nicer 17-inch alloy wheels.
