Honda Malaysia, which recently launched the face-lifted version of the widely popular Honda City has brought in another makeover vehicle and this time it comes in the Honda Freed MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle).
Coming in the guise of the Freed S, it is a cheaper version of the current model where it is priced at RM99,800 on-the-road with insurance.
This will surely be good news for those who have been holding back their wallets after the RM113,493 price tag of the Freed E now that you can own one for below RM100,000. Naturally, this means that they have taken out some stuff like the automated power sliding side door which came with remote operations. The S will need you to manually slide it open while they have also taken out the side mirror indicator lights.
The tail spoiler has also been omitted while the S is not fitted with the Alpine powered DVD player. Otherwise, all the other fittings are very much the same like the ABS, EBD and Brake Assist safety features as well as the 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine. On top of that, you also get to choose between the Brilliant White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Polished Metal Metallic body colours for the Freed S too.
