Opel launches new version of their best seller, the Corsa

If you haven’t already know, the Corsa is Opel’s flagship model where it makes up about 30% of the sales in Europe. The 2011 model is set to be released in either the 3 door or 5 door versions while a 111 Limited Edition model will also be rolled out later this year to commemorate the brand’s 111 year anniversary.

For starters, there are the petrol and diesel engines where the latter comes with either the 1.3 or 1.7 CDTI model which boost out from 75 horse to 130 horses respectively of which all of the variants come with less than 4.5 liter per 100kilometers in terms of fuel consumption. The top range diesel model as mentioned (1.7 CDTi) is where you get the 130 horses engine with 300Nm of maximum torque. This is where it gets you from zero to hundred in 9.5 seconds and top speeding at 200km/h.

Apart from that, there is also the ‘Color Line’ which is the special edition of the Corsa where it comes with 17 inch alloys and nicer colour themes. This is typically the sporty edition of the Corsa where you get the more sporty features like its chassis, seats, smoked lights and tinted windows as well as a chrome exhaust tail pipe. Otherwise, you will have to be happy with the standard colour themes available like Casablanca White, Sunny Melon yellow, Magma red, Oriental Blue or Black Sapphire.
