Peugeot recently showed off their latest non-limited edition 508 RXH to complement the exclusive edition seen at the Frankfurt show.
This is the model which will be fitted with their trademark HYbrid4 technology which typically is the diesel-electric hybrid system. According to the company, this would be the modern and enhanced top-of-the-range vision for the company.
With the rising price of fuel and the demand for more environmental friendly energy, it is no surprise that Peugeot are going all out into this segment. It now comes with LED daytime running lights and the distinctive colours inside the car. It is powered up with the 2.0 liter HDi FAP Hybrid4 engine that gets you up to 200 horses running on its 4WD platform.
One thing really cool about this is the fact that it can move on ZEV which is where it goes on 100% electric mode while CO2 emissions are kept at a low of 109 g/km. Showed recently at the Frankfurt show, it will start selling next Spring. It comes with a large boot space with 423 liters of space beneath the parcel shelf while it can be increased when the seats are folded. Standard equipments here include JBL audio system, automatic electric parking brakes, Xenon lights and a Colour Head Up Display system.
