National car maker Proton has just launched a new version of the popular Proton Inspira and this will come in the guise of the Executive version.
The 2.0 liter CVT Inspira will replace the current 1.8 CVT Executive model and will be positioned between the entry level 1.8 MT Executive and the top of the range 2.0 CVT Premium versions respectively which will be sold for RM86,900 for the metallic version and RM86,450 for the solid version on-the-road with insurance. The 1.8 CVT version was previously sold for RM85,015. Meanwhile, the top range Premium model is priced at RM92,015.
This model comes with several colours that include Tranquility Black, Solid White, Genetic Silver and the new Elegant Brown and most of what is provided in the Premium model is fitted into this version except for the door trim finishing the seats which are in fabric and not leather. It comes with a new 16-inch alloy wheels design while others like steering wheel mounted audio controls and paddle shifters are pretty much standard. Apart from that, it also comes with the auto light and rain sensors while the Premium bodykit is not offered as well as the automatic speed rain wiper adjustments
