Proton Inspira gets a new sibling with new bodykit and larger wheels

The sporty Proton Inspira has just got sportier after a recent update to this hugely popular model.

National car maker Proton has updated the Proton Inspira 2.0P model where it comes with 17 inch wheels and a bodykit.

The new design comes with a new price where the 2.0P model is sold at RM92,450 on-the-road for the solid colour model while the metallic colour ones are priced at RM92,900 on-the-road. This means that on average, it is about RM6,000 more than the 2.0E version where it comes with 215/50R17 tyres.

This would give it a more distinctive look as compared to the current 2.0E which was rolled out not too long ago. Apart from that, the 2.0P also comes with leather door trims and seats as compared to the 2.0E model which only gives you fabric ones.

The new model also comes with a different audio head unit which is equipped with a touch-screen GPS system as well as automatic rain sensors too. Together with automatic headlights, they are standard in both the E and P models where the latter comes with steering wheel mounted audio controls and paddle shifters too. Other standards in this one include an electric door and mirror adjustment and a safety kit as well.
