The upcoming Geneva Motor Show is going to be an explosive event and surely a very anticipated one. And one of the models which is set to be on show there would be the open-top Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept.
The world is currently enjoying the covered top version and in Malaysia there are the 3 door Coupe and the 5 door models which starts form RM353k, so the convertible version would surely make everyone salivating.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept is set to be the first premium convertible SUV in the world but this would only be the concept model where Land Rover is setting out to see what the response is going to be like. The Convertible Coupe is designed based on the stock Evoque Coupe where it comes with a fully retractable roof system with Roll Over Protection System. This model sits 4 people and comes with a drop down tailgate. According to Gerry McGovern, the Design Director at Land Rover, the idea of a convertible seemed to be quite a natural progression from the current Evoque where they have retained much of the Evoque’s lines to design this concept. If the response is good, then this cool feature might be the next in line.
