Renault Koleos White Edition – Weird looking but totally relevant

Renault had recently launched the Koleos White Edition, and this is supposedly a limited edition vesion which is part of their campaign to boost the recently dropping 4×4/crossover sales which is not any fault of theirs but it is the market forces. Based on the Dynamique trim model, the White Edition comes with cool looking 2 tone leather upholstery, drop down tables and cool looking 18 inch alloy rims. Inside the car, you get some cool entertainment add-ins like an in car DVD Navigation system fitted with a BOSE powered audio system. You also get some cool colour choices like the ‘Mineral Beige’, the Argent Grey and the Perle White to fit in with the new chrome skid plates, privacy glass and a new rear lip spoiler as well.

The White Edition of the Koleos comes in different variants namely the standard White Edition, the Expression, the Privilege and the Dynamique. As mentioned, its 2 tone upholstery looks really cool and it comes with safety features like the ABS with Emergency Brake Assist system, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlamp activation and 6 airbags covering the front and back, lateral and curtains. Apart from that, it also has a 60/40 split fold down reclining bench seats that gives you 5 different positions, keyless engine start and such as well.

If looks are anything to go by, you will find that this car do look weird to a large extent. But look beyond its first impression and you will find that this car has much more than just aesthetics. In fact, you can rest assure that you do have some sort of character driving this one. Whichever way you see it, this is where you get the best crossover ever. The size of an MPV, the comfort of a touring car and the handling and performace of a 4×4. Now isn’t that something?
