Renault shows off the Belinette inspired Renault Alpine A110-50 Concept

French automotive giant recently showed off their widely anticipated A110-50 Concept which was designed as a tribute to the Alpine A110 which was also known was the Berlinette.

This concept is based on the same chassis as the Megane Trophy where it comes with some very nice looking 21-inch wheels and adjustable Sachs dampers.

Under the hood on this speed beauty is a 3.5 liter V6 engine which will boost out 400 horses paired with a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox. You can change the gears either through the paddle shifters or the floor-mounted clutch pedals and all that are incorporated as part of celebrating 50 years of this legend. This new concept is designed based on the new design language which was adopted in the Dezir concept car not too long ago.

The body is mainly made from carbon-fiber compliments of Faster and the blue is derived from the original ‘Alpine Blue’ shade and this 2 seater where inside the car, you get some very nice fittings as well. Sabelt full harness belts are offered while the ‘Renault Alpine A110-50’ emblem is proudly embroidered onto the driver’s seat. A colour screen is fitted onto the specially designed steering wheel which is the same one fitted onto the Formula Renault 3.5 single seater vehicle.
