The model was made to test the electric power system which comes with a fully-integrated battery and compact motor under the hood. Typically, it is placed in the B-segment category which means that this is not just any sedan model but which has a lot of cargo space and in the interiors. It also comes with the climate control system that includes the adjustment controls for the humidity level, a toxicity sensor which is used to purify the air in the cabin as well as an active relaxing or stimulating scent diffuser.
The power of this car comes through its 80 horsepower electric motor and 222Nm of torque. This means you get from zero to hundred in 8.1 seconds and top speeds at 135km/h. Now that is pretty impressive. And if that is not enough, you also get up to 160kilometers on a single full charge and if you need to, plug it in for 10 minutes and you could get 37 miles and charge it for half an hour and you would have gotten up to 80% of the power into the batteries.
Set for launch in2012, they showed off this revolutionary model at the Paris Motor Show which they claimed was at 90% of the real thing and when it goes into production will be done so at its France manufacturing plant in Flins. The Zoe is only 4.1 meters long and comes with 19 inch wheels. Taking into the consideration of the passengers, its air-cond comes with a dehydrating effect on the skin which is useful if you going on long journeys. Cool huh? On top of that, they have also fitted in some cool music to be used when driving this car to give you the relaxing experience, compliments of Creative Diffusion and Qwartz.
