RIDES and 0-60 magazines experts tune up the Hyundai Sonata Turbo for SEMA 2010

Now, if you recalled, Hyundai has been very active in the automotive industry recently where they have been rolling out some very impressive models recently. They seemed to be quite actively participating in the after market segments too where their latest collaboration with Brabus in giving the i20 a makeover seemed to have gathered quite a favourable following. This would be one of their latest products in such collaborations and you can surely expect more of such wonders to come out soon.

The executive publisher of RIDES and 0-60 magazines, Ben Harris said that this model will be the one to show off what they could do in integrating performance, luxury, style, technology and the great looks that comes with it. Apparently, the newly designed exteriors comes was inspired by the Brabus Mercedes CLS Rocket Sport Coupe which includes it monobloc concave 20 inch wheels as well as the matte white coloured body. They have also borrowed the designs of the roof, the side mirrors, the grill and the interior trim made from carbon fiber components.

Inside the car, you will get the Ferrari F430 inspired leather and carbon fiber trims. And of course, how can one not use the standard red and black combination scheme from the Prancing Horse where they have embossed into the leather and suede material. They have also put in a customized quad tip exhaust at the back while adding in an S-Max intercooler in front. Entertainment is channeled out through its 2 JBL 12 inch subwoofers powered up through 2 amplifiers also from JBL. Under the hood, you will get the 2.0 liter Theta II turbocharged GDI engine which gets you up to 274 horse and 269lb-ft of torque.
