The new facelifted Volkswagen Tiguan SUV has reached our shores and this would be the one which was seen recently at the Geneva Motor Show.
For the Malaysian market, it is sold for RM236,888 on the road, without insurance and comes with only 1 engine type. This is where you will get the 2.0 liter TSI model that boosts our 208 horses paired with the 7 speed DSG transmission gearbox. Apart from that, it is also fitted with the VW’s 4Motion All-wheel drive system which also comes with a host of high-technology fittings.
This would include the speed sensitive electro-mechanicl power steering which is fitted with park distance control while it also gets the ‘Rear Assist’ rear view camera system. Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights are also included, which are pretty much standard these days while in terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags on the front, the sides and curtains. Most of the fittings are still the same and it comes with 235/55 rubbers wrapping around the New Orleans, 17 inch alloy wheels.
