Volkswagen Malaysia recently launched their new Volkswagen Eos facelifted model for the market here. This would be the new look of the one-of-its-kind ‘coupe-cabriolet’ model which comes with a convertible metal roof top instead of the usually convertible cloth roof.
It surely is an impressive version considering that it takes only 25 seconds for the metal piece to fold down fully. This can be done with the touch of a button located on the center console that ‘converts’ the coupe into a convertible. Fitted with their ‘Chicago’ alloy wheels wrapped with 235/40 R18 tyres, it is also fitted with a headlamp washer system as well as stainless steel foot pedals among others.
The Eos comes with a 2.0 liter direct injection turbo 4 cylinder engine paired with a 6 speed DSG twin clutch transmission gearbox. This means that it will get you up to about 207 horses. This surely is an improvement where the pre-facelift model only came with about 200 horses. Apart from that, it is also fitted with integrated LED daytime running lights built on top of their bi-xenon headlamps. Previously priced at RM248,888, it is now RM9k more (RM257,888). It comes with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty that also comes with a 5 year Roadside Assistance service.
