At the Los Angeles Auto Show 2010, you will get to see the Subaru Impreza Concept Design Concept. The Impreza of course is one of those ‘king of the road’ models and this is the design that provides you with the review of what their future models would look like. According to Subaru of America Inc, the concept showcases their new design language that goes with the tagline ‘Confidence in Motion’.
This is where you will like the ‘four door coupe’ design which might just be what you would expect in future models and according to the company, they are looking to integrate environmental compatibility with a comfortable ride where it is fitted with Subaru’s own Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system. This 4 seater also comes with Subaru’s trademark front where you get the hexagonal grille with a 3-dimensional traits to project what their next generation models would look like. This is where you will notice their new hoods, grille and headlights.
Inside the car, Subaru has put in their ‘Dynamic, Enticing, Secure’ design theme with platinum leather fitted into the 4 seater configuration. Blue colour and double stitching are used on the leather while you also get a large display screen fitted in the center of the dashboard. This is where you will be able to get and read important information when driving like vehicle data, navigation as well as controlling the in-car entertainment.
In terms of safety, they have put in the EyeSight system which is used to give you better visual through its camera mounted on the front edge of the roof. Meanwhile, under the hood, you will get the 2.0-liter Boxer engine with a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This is the same engine which is being fitted onto the 2011 Forester but is a more powerful one which is the 2.5 liter version. Apart from that you will also get the new expression of the Subaru branding like the fin-shaped fog lamps connected onto its wing motif. This is featured also in the new generation of the Subaru Legacy where you will also get the new low-and-wide direction. How it all pen out, nothing is sure yet but if the Subaru Impreza Concept is to get through to production, it might just be enticing enough for buyers to think about.
