Sunny replacement Nissan Almera 1.5L to be available in Q4

ETCM (Edaran Tan Chong Motor) recently showed off the widely anticipated Nissan Almera to the Malaysian public.

If you haven’t already know, the Almera is the new name for the Nissan Sunny and this newly designed sedan will be coming to our shores starting next month.

The new Nissan Almera will be the big B-Segment model for Nissan in Malaysia where it essentially will be replacing the Nissan Latio where it is almost about the same size.

Tan Chong has yet to confirm the pricing details of the sedan but it is expected to fetch between RM70,000 to RM85,000 which means it could well be the most affordable model in its class. There would be 5 colours to choose from namely the Bronze Gold, Sapphier Black, Tungsten Silver, Brilliant White and Twilight Grey. Also unconfirmed is the trim levels for the Malaysian market.

If you are intending to buy this car, you can register your interest either online or at the selected showrooms and you would be owning one of the cars with the largest boot volumes which is at 490 liters. Apart from that, it also comes with 1985/65 R15 tyres as well as front MacPherson struts, ventilated disc brakes in front and drum brakes behind and powered up with the Nissan HR15DE 1.5 liter engine and will be mated with either a 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.
