One thing for sure, you will find that the Alto is pretty much what you see is what you get. This is because, cars in this segment would usually not be coming on too strongly, especially when it comes to accessories and such. To begin with, its 3 cylinder engine means that to a large extend, it feels like the car is underpowered, which it is. One version comes without a tachometer, which makes you feel as if Suzuki is tell you that it is almost never that you will hit the maximum in the rev limiter here. Which you most highly likely won’t.
Standard features in the Alto would include a 14 inch wheels, front power windows, an MP3 enabled CD player remote central locking. One cool thing about this car is that it comes with dual front, side and curtain airbags which are usually not available in cars of this segment. For the GLX, which is the higher version, they added in front fog lamps, 14 inch alloy wheels, 4 speakers for audio, height adjuster and the very significantly missing, the tachometer.
As mentioned, the car comes with a 3 cylinder engine which is a 1.0 liter capacity that comes wither with a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission gearbox. The car is set to compete with Honda’s Jazz although the Hyundai Getz too fits into the same bracket. Some reviewers are saying that the Toyota Yaris might be competing too although that looks kind of doubtful.
