If you are a fan of the Ford Fiesta as well as a fan of the widely popular reality show American Idol series, then this might be very exciting for you because Sime Darby Auto ConneXion, the distributor of Ford cars in Malaysia has launched the SDAC Experience Fiesta, Experience Hollywood contest where you might just be the lucky 5 who will be travelling to Hollywood for the semi-final show of this season’s American Idol. And the great thing is that you need not purchase a car to be eligible to enter.
The contests started on Valentine’s Day and will go on until the end of March where the winners will also enjoy a 5 days 4 nights trip plus transport and accommodation in Los Angeles for the show. To join the contest, you only need to visit any SDAC branch or a Ford authorized dealer and test drive the new Ford Fiesta 1.6L Sport. Now of course, if you are one of those who have booked your Fiesta or those who already owned one, you can also join the contest by visiting the show room and informing them.
The 1.6L Sport comes with the 1.6 liter Ti-VCT engine paired with a 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission gearbox and its Voice Control with Bluetooth system is the important feature here as it would be used by you to submit your entry. During the test drive, an interactive audio CD will be played to guide you through what the Fiesta is about and then eventually, you will learn to use the Voice Control feature where you will submit your entry. This is where you will be dialling a 1-800 number through the Bluetooth system which might just fly you to LA for the new American Idol.
