China automotive giant BYD Auto recently launched their new F3 sedan model which is one of their best selling models there due to its affordability.
The entry level model is priced at RMB65,900 which is only about RM32k here which is the 1.5 liter model but it is in their top of the range model which have heads all turning.
This is because for another RMB100,000 which roughly is about RM50k here, the 1.5 liter direct-injected engine comes with a 6 speed dual-clutch gearbox and a digital dashboard. But the highlight would be its remote driving system.
This is where you need not have to be in the car and is ideal to negotiate the car into tight spots or to bring the car to your doorstep on rainy days. Essentially, you can move the car in a distance of up to 10 meters and it could only move up to 2km/h which is ideal for the specific purpose.
Coming with a 4 years or 100,000km warranty, it takes slightly less than 9 seconds to reach the 100km/h through its 154 horsepower engine. Among its standards here are ABS, Traction Control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a 4.3 inch LCD screen that comes with internet and GPS connectivity.
