The new Colt makes choosing a compact car more difficult

Of course, if you have ever considered the models from the other brands, your expectations will soar higher than many. It comes with the ‘jet fighter’ look in front, which pretty much is the trademark for Mitsubishi. While more and more additions have been put into cars in this bracket, the Colt too has put up their own set of elements which gives itself its own identity.

Apart from the signature front grille, it also comes with new bumpers and headlights while the back too have redesigned lights and tailgate as well. This 5 door hatchback comes with 3 available trims known as CZ1, CZ2 and the way more sportier Ralliart which has a lighter version which is a 3 door version.

The CZ1 is one which comes with a 1.1 liter engine while a 1.2 liter engine resides in the CZ2. Where this is concerned, the 1.1 liter engine gets you up to 74 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque and gets you from zero to hundred in 13.2 seconds and top speeding at 101mph. On the other hand, the CZ2 comes with the 1.3 liter, 16 valve engine that gets you up to 94 horses and cruise control and 16 inch alloy wheels.

If you get the top of the range trim, which is the Ralliart version, you know for sure that this will be a sporty version, which means that you can easily expect a more powerful engine, better suspensions and such. Of course that is what it means. The 3 door hatchback version means that you get a 147 horses engine in its 1.5 liter turbocharged machine. It also comes with a stronger and bolder chassis, sports exhaust and suspensions as well as having less weight. This car, which also comes with a 5 door version which will be more expensive gets you from zero to hundred in 7.4 seconds, so watch out others like the Suzuki Swift Sport, Honda Jazz, the Fiat 500 Arbath and the Renault Twingo Sport.
