Toyota Avanza gets new updates

UMW Motors (M) Sdn Bhd, the distributor of Toyota cars in Malaysia recently announced a new updated model of their very successful Multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) the Toyota Avanza. With MPVs being the preferred choice of many Malaysians these days, it is no wonder that Toyota has taken the step to continue marketing the Avanza in the country. After all, the Avanza has been around for around 6 years here already and ever since then, Perodua has launched their Alza while Proton too had their Exora.

Back in 2004, the Avanza only came with a 1.3 liter version and then they expanded onto the 1.5 version with better driving performance and power. Since then, there has not been much updates, until now where they have given the design a little tweaking garnered from the feedback from its customers. Gone are the cream coloured interiors and now it comes with darker scheme inside. The Toyota Avanza 1.5 S Automatic is priced at RM77,490 while the 1.5 G Automatic version is sold for RM74,990. The 1.5E entry level automatic model is priced at RM69,990 while the 1.3 E Manual model is still available at RM62,000.

Apart from the matching colour scheme all around the inside, the outside has not been given much of a change as yet and it still come in 5 different colours namely, Black Mica, White, Light Green Metallic, Dazzling Silver and Grey Metallic.
